The University of Northern Colorado (甜心视频app) celebrated the achievements of its Latine
student community with the vibrant and culturally rich LatinXcellence event on Sunday,
April 28.
In its fifth year, the annual event is organized by the Division of Diversity, Equity
and Inclusion, along with the C茅sar Chavez Cultural Center and other key allies. Its
serves as a momentous occasion to recognize the hard work, perseverance and accomplishments
of Latine graduates, honoring their journey through academia and beyond.
This spring鈥檚 LatinXcellence event provided a platform for more than 600 participants,
including students, faculty, staff and families, to come together in unity and celebration,
showcasing the diverse talents, resilience and contributions of the Latine community
at 甜心视频app. Attendees were treated to inspiring speeches by 甜心视频app鈥檚 President Andy Feinstein,
Rogelio Garc铆a-P茅rez from the COSI program and graduating student Izbeth Pacheco Holguin,
who shared about the relevance of having representation in the classrooms. The audience
also enjoyed the captivating performance of Andrea Camacho, who sang a song from The Little Mermaid, a series of songs interpreted by the Latin
Music Ensamble conducted by the new Director, Javier Vi帽asco, and heartfelt expressions of pride and solidarity from
friends and families.
As graduates crossed the stage, they were cheered on by their peers and loved ones,
marking the culmination of their academic endeavors and the beginning of exciting
new chapters in their lives.

latina con el vibrante y culturalmente rico evento LatinXcellence el domingo 28 de
abril.
En su quinto aniversario, este evento anual fue organizado por la Divisi贸n de Diversidad,
Equidad e Inclusi贸n, junto con el Centro Cultural C茅sar Ch谩vez y otros aliados clave.
El evento sirvi贸 como una ocasi贸n trascendental para reconocer el trabajo duro, la
perseverancia y los logros de los graduados latinx, honrando su trayectoria a trav茅s
de la academia y m谩s all谩.
El LatinXcellence de esta primavera proporcion贸 una plataforma para que m谩s de 600
participantes incluyendo estudiantes, profesores, personal administrativo y familias
se reunieran en comunidad y celebraci贸n, mostrando los diversos talentos y contribuciones
