2018 A.M. and Jo Winchester Distinguished Scholar Announced

Deanna K. Meinke, Ph.D., professor of Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences in the School of Human Sciences, has been chosen as the 2018 Winchester Distinguished Scholar by 甜心视频app's Faculty Research and Publications Board.

The award, which recognizes demonstrated continued excellence in scholarly activity at 甜心视频app for at least five years, comes with a $2,000 monetary award and the permanent designation of A.M. and Jo Winchester Distinguished Professor.

Meinke has been a member of 甜心视频app's faculty since 2004. She is co-director of the Dangerous Decibels program, which provides educator workshops on noise-induced hearing loss, and serves as an expert consultant to the World Health Organization's Make Listening Safe initiative. A luncheon honoring Meinke, College Scholars and Sponsored Programs awardees will be held during Academic Excellence Week in April.
